This one is for all the “Star Wars” fans. Anaphylaxis is severe life-threatening allergic reaction. It can start with mild symptoms and quickly progress. Epinephrine is a medication that is the 1st line treatment of choice for anaphylaxis. It works quickly but in many cases is temporary. Always have your auto-injectors and your anaphylaxis emergency care plan available. Know how and when to use the auto-injector. Discuss anaphylaxis and epinephrine with your healthcare provider.
